The best spa booking software for most day spas is the one that books a therapist, a treatment room and any equipment together, then takes payment and memberships at the same checkout. On vendor pages checked November 7, 2026, Mangomint, Vagaro, Mindbody and Square Appointments publish prices, Boulevard publishes tier prices for salon and spa businesses, and Zenoti sells by quote.

Small spas that want a published price and a free trial should start with Mangomint, Vagaro or Square Appointments. Spas with many treatment rooms should check resource handling first. Hotel and multi-location spas will need demos.

This list covers seven spa appointment systems using what each vendor documents. For the wider category, see our Scheduling & Booking Software Guide (2026) or browse booking software by industry.

How We Evaluated

This is a research-based guide. We compared the products using their official pricing pages, documentation and help centers, checked November 7, 2026. We have not yet run our hands-on spa test scenario on these products; when we do, we will add the results and mark the page as tested. Our approach is on the how we test page.

The Best Spa Booking Software, Reviewed

Mangomint

Mangomint is spa and salon software with one public price: $120 per location and $10 per user per month. Anyone with a profile counts as a user, including front-desk staff. The base price lists scheduling, payments, online booking, memberships and packages, forms, gift cards, retail and reporting.

Best fit: small and midsize spas that want predictable pricing. Its spa page says you can assign treatment rooms or equipment to services through a Resources feature, and clients can book multiple services in one appointment. Limitations: phone ($70 per line per month), marketing (from $30 per month) and payroll ($50 per month plus $8 per worker) are paid add-ons. In-person payments cost 2.45% + 15¢ and virtual payments 2.90% + 30¢, and several features need Mangomint’s payment processing. As arithmetic, one location with six profiles is $180 per month before add-ons. Onboarding, data transfer and a free trial are free.

Boulevard

Boulevard prices salon and spa businesses in tiers: Essentials for one location with up to five providers, and Premier and Prestige per location. The page advertises a limited-time fall offer and has a monthly or annual toggle; confirm the price and billing term on the vendor site. Enterprise is custom.

Best fit: spas that run complex bookings. Boulevard’s spa page says Precision Scheduling tracks every provider, treatment room, couples’ room, sauna and piece of equipment. Its official pages also list intake forms, SOAP notes, memberships, packages and an AI receptionist, Beau. Limitations: forms start at $65 per month per location as an add-on, and Boulevard lists no free trial, only a demo. Payment processing rates were not on the pages checked.

Vagaro

Vagaro prices by bookable calendar. Its US support page lists $23.99 per month for one calendar as a limited-time rate. Each additional employee calendar costs $10 per month, up to seven licenses, after which more employees add no calendar cost.

Every plan lists calendar and resource management, memberships, packages, gift certificates, loyalty programs, SOAP notes, waitlists, unlimited reminders and 1,000 free emails monthly. Vagaro’s spa page also mentions face mapping.

Best fit: independent estheticians and small spas that want a low entry price. Limitations: cost rises with each calendar up to seven licenses. Forms cost $10 per month. Vera Receptionist is listed at $10 per month, and the branded app is $100 per month for a limited time plus a $100 one-time development fee. US card-present processing is 2.6% + $0.10 per transaction for merchants processing less than $4,000 monthly, or 2.29% + $0.19 for those processing more than $4,000 monthly; the latter also pay $10 monthly, and additional card-network fees apply. Vagaro lists a 30-day free trial.

Zenoti

Zenoti is quote-based; its pricing page offers “Get a Quote” and a demo, and multi-location pricing is customized. Its spa page describes online booking with a room- and therapist-aware appointment book, point of sale, memberships and packages, marketing, reporting, and AI tools including an AI Receptionist.

Best fit: resort, hotel and multi-location spas. Zenoti says every subscription includes onboarding and 24/7 support. Limitations: no public price or free trial is listed on the pages checked; voice and messaging usage is billed on consumption, and the AI agents require the AI Plus package.

Mindbody

Mindbody sells Starter, Accelerate and Ultimate plans, each with a “Let’s talk” button. Its pricing-page headline says plans start at $99 USD per location per month, while its FAQ still says $79 per month in North America and Asia; confirm the starting price with sales. All plans include unlimited users per location and no onboarding fee. Accelerate adds room and resource management and text reminders. Ultimate adds automated email and text marketing.

Best fit: spas that want a consumer marketplace. Limitations: The pages checked show no individual tier prices. A marketplace fee of 20%, capped at $30 USD, applies to the first purchase of a new client acquired through the app; existing clients and tracked referrals are excluded. Mindbody Payments charges a percentage-based processing rate plus $0.10 to $0.30 per transaction in North America and Asia. No free trial is listed.

Square Appointments

Square’s current Free ($0), Plus ($49) and Premium ($149) plans are priced per location per month. Free lists unlimited staff calendars, an online booking site and reminders. Plus adds cancellation policies and no-show fees, multi-staff appointment booking and a waitlist. Premium adds a future bookings report, service cost tracking and resource management through its advanced bookings capability.

Best fit: small spas that already take payments with Square. In-person card rates are 2.6% + 15¢ on Free, 2.5% + 15¢ on Plus and 2.4% + 15¢ on Premium. Limitations: treatment-room tracking requires Premium’s advanced bookings capability. Plus and Premium have a 30-day free trial.

Fresha

Fresha has an Independent plan for one bookable calendar and a Team plan charged per bookable team member, with Enterprise for teams above 20. Both plans show a 7-day trial. Features include waitlists, memberships, packages, resources and group bookings.

Best fit: small spas that want to be listed on a marketplace. Limitations: the pricing page checked showed Swiss francs (CHF), so US dollar prices are left out. A one-time fee applies to new clients from the Fresha marketplace. Automated text and WhatsApp notifications share a free monthly allowance of 20 on Independent or 20 per team member on Team; usage beyond that allowance is charged.

  • Real cost: count users, calendars, processing fees and add-ons.

A combined salon and spa should compare our best salon booking system list. A hotel spa may also need a hotel booking system. Spas offering clinical treatments can see medical appointment scheduling software. Project planning is different; see construction scheduling software.
